How do I let my best friend go?

He is NOT your best friend. Now. If he ever was. Close that book. Pretend like he's on a mission to China or something. Fantasize whatever you have to to get him off of your calendar. He does not deserve to dominate your life. You have a new life now. If you didn't want life, you wouldn't have taken your precious time to write Answers. This guy is gone. The one who really loves you, who you don't know yet, deserves the quality of attention that you have reserved for him. Stay clean! -- P.S. I feel this guy has insulted you, as though he's the only man on earth and since you can't have him, poor you, you have nothing. Wrong! You have opportunity everywhere. He's the one who can't manage to commit to somebody who's actually available to him.
