Minor in Poss of alchol?

ok so I brought a empty flask that smelled like liquior from New Mexico because I visit family on Vacations So I brought it back to my hometown El Paso tx but I forgot it was in my backpack then they found it gave me a citation ( my 1st by the way) but it was empty so I really dont understand my ticket it says poss of alchol but I didnt have any I wasnt intoxicated or anything so what do you think is gonna be my punishment I brought it back for decoration use's Im 14 by the way
