Doesn't anyone else think that the reason why the government amongst others in this country(the UK) is trying

so hard to get us to conserve energy so much is because they cant/ wont/ dont want to invest money in the infrastructure ie power stations/ water treatment etc to keep up with the demand of developement and growth of population.
