Christians: God does not hear a sinners prayer?

What does that mean I'm having trouble understanding since it would be virtually impossible to find a human being who never sins. I mean, I consider myself to be a real Christian albeit an extremely imperfect one. I know I pretty much sin daily but when I pray and repent its sincere and from the heart.
