Creationism in science lessons?

Presumably at least some of the people proposing this must be educated, it makes no sense whatsoever. They are two different subjects, weather from a religious point of view or non-religious. Creationism belongs in religious studies, which can be taught in schools, it does not belong in science cles, even those who believe in creationism must see that it is not science. If people have faith in these things above and beyond science then why do they keep trying to ociate these matters of faith, with science?
