Xbox 360, NCAA football 2009?

Does anyone know why Otto the Orange isn't a playable mascot in NCAA football 2009? He isn't even on the sidelines during games!! Do you have to unlock him?? They show him in the loading screens when playing as S.U. Appreciate any help!!
